Using a wedge and a coat hanger

This method works on click door latch vehicles.

Bent the coat hanger to have one side as a hook and the other side straight.

Pull the top of the door frame out with a screwdriver and push the wedge inside to hold the door frame.

Slide the hook side of the coat hanger into the gap created by the wegde.

When the hanger reach the bottom of the window, you can try push the open button on the door.

Click it and your door will open.

Note: This is risky method and you can ends up tearing your weather strips or scratching the paint. To re-align the door frame at a body shop will cost you 3 times than a locksmith. We recommend using wedge on old vehicle only.

This method should be use on the push/pull door latch.

Tie a loop at one end of the string and a knot in the middle.

Wiggle the string around the right side of the passenger or driver’s window.

Hold both side of the string with your hands and move it in a back and forth till its move further down toward the door latch.

Place the loop over the latch and pull the string on both ends to tighten the loop on the latch.

When you have a solid grip around the latch, pull up the string to unlock the door.
